"I freakin beat the sh*t out of them and I got blood on my hands to prove it."

We interrupt this episode of High Stakes Poker to bring you :

" I freakin beat the sh*t out of them and i got blood on my hands to prove it."

Three old high school friends go out to dinner at the Olive Garden of Spring Hill, TN. Joseph, Jacob, and Chris. Joseph and Jacob order a bottle of wine. Joseph drinks 2/3 of the wine. "I just kept pouring more wine", Joseph said. During dinner Chris is reserved and speaks occasionally about Christianity. This irks Joseph who while once having found God after speaking with Chris now sees the world as more "real". Chris and Jacob believe that Joseph is drunk and after dinner they take him for a drive so that he can sober up before he must drive home. After arriving back at the Olive Garden Joseph attempts to leave but Chris and Jacob get into his car. Irritated Joseph presses the panic button. Chris and Jacob get out. Joseph walks to the back of his car. Chris is standing in the front driver doorway. Joseph walks slowly up to driver's door and Chris says "Dude you don't wanna do this." Joseph employs and wrestling move to bring Chris to the ground and he punches him twice. Jacob comes after Joseph and Joseph brings him to the ground punching him once in the face. Joseph then gets in his car and drives off. He pulls back around to find his friends standing in the grass. He aims his car at them and revs his engine.... He turns and drives off home.

"I'm gonna get them outta my way. And i'm going do what i want ... for love."

Judge J. Mark Rogers

Judge J. Mark Rogers of Murfreesboro, TN does not seem to me to be a very good Judge. It seems he lets his personal biases overrule the legality of his judgments. I would not recommend voting for him whenever his reelection comes up in Murfreesboro.

I wish I could yell at him about how he is not treating mothers and fathers as individuals in court cases but instead he seems to be treating them as generic mothers and fathers entitled to certain rights of precedent.

But it is not all judge Rogers fault. The current situation of separated/divorced mothers and fathers and their children is... horrible. It is horrible for people who strongly dislike each other to be forced to regularly communicate with each other about their children. It causes a lot of stress. It is unfortunate because of the fact that the children do not receive the resonant love that a mother father couple can provide in a loving relationship.

So what is the solution? Well... I would say people shouldn't have sex until they are married and people should be allowed to marry younger when sex drives first kick in. Counter Arguments? I guess I have not even made an argument... If marriage is not for you how about commitment? Marriage is a commitment to stay with someone until death. People could make those commitments without marriage... I feel as if I am not making good points...

Update: I wrote this blog in 2009. I took off the judges name, but it is now 2020 and i am learning about others who are still having a problem with this judge. Seems he is following his own checklist and morals rather than the law. Also i hear he is not from rutherford county, and is yet a judge there. Also, the appeals process overturned Judge J. Mark Rogers rulings in our particular case.
